Canon iP1800 printer has an orange flashing light under the green 'on' light. Printer won't print. Can't find an instruction manual. Thanks in advance for your help
First off, How many times does it flash organge before it goes to green?
two: out of paper
three: paper jam
four: Ink has run out
Five: FINE cartridge cannot be found
Seven: FINE Cart. not installed in correct position
Eight: Ink absorber almost full
Count how many times it flashes. Then get back to me
Orange light is flashing 7 times and I get msgs that say cartridge not installed properly and cartridge cannot be recognized. I have refilled my cartridges more than once it worked fine for awhile. This is what Canon said.

The FINE cartridge cannot be
recognized.
Possible causes are as follows:
• The FINE Cartridge may not be installed properly.
• The FINE Cartridge may not be compatible with this printer.
Install the appropriate FINE Cartridge. If lines are misaligned or the resulting output
is not satisfactory, carry out the Print Head Alignment.
