You should check the battery, if the phone says the battery is fully charged and it still shuts off,you will need to send the phone to motorola and have them repair it

If it is not under warranty, check to see what is the cost to ship, and what they would charge to repair it, then look on ebay for new phone and see which is the best way to go,repair or buy new.
try holding down the power remove the back cover and battery (at this point briefly let up on the power) remove the sim card wait for "insert sim card" message remove battery reinsert sim card and battery release power key when the splash screen comes up
