Remote Access/Call Forwarding for Avaya 5410

We would like to set up call forwarding and remote access to call forwarding. The phone's manual says it is possible, our phone company says we need to have an analog phone to program it. Do we need to buy an analog phone despite our digital's phone's manual saying it's a feature?

You need to talk to the system administrator. They control the Voicemail.

  1. Press feature +(00)+(left intercom)+(left intercom)+#103 at extension 10 or 11.
  2. Enter a new time in 24-hour notation. For example, to set the time to 2:15 p.m., press 1415.
    A display similar to the following appears:
    System Time
    Data 1415
    This time appears on system display phones as 2:15 p.
  3. Select another procedure, or exit programming mode.

SOURCE: I NEED TO RESET MYPHONE

Assuming this is on an Avaya IP Office, there is no way to reset it at the phone level. You will need to have the admin log into the "Manager" software and remove the not needed items under your user name.

To cancel Call Forwarding: Press the Menu button and then the softkey below CFrwd (if available on your display) while on-hook.
or, Press Call Fwd while on-hook.
or, Dial the Call Forward Cancel code #2 while off-hook.

How do you stop the AVAYA 5621 frin going straight to voice mail?

It is probably in Do NOt Disturb.
If you press the speaker button, you will hear a broken dial tone IF the phone is either in Do not disturb or forwarded somewhere.

*09 turns DND off

I have a direct phone # coming into AVAYA Definity Switch. I do not have any display options. The phone is a 6408D+. I need to know how to forward incoming calls to a cell #.

It looks like you want to turn on Call Forwarding. If you don't have a call forward button programmed/labeled, then you need to know the FAC (Feature Access Code) to manually turn the feature on. If you don't have the FAC codes, then you need to log into the Avaya Definity to get them. You can find get excellent remote Aaya support @ http://www.avayaurgentsupport.com/ for only $3 a minute.

*13*N# to cancel the forwarding. ( where N is the extension you want forwarded to where you are )

If so, at your phone, you need to set the number to forward to:

Press: *07*9xxxxxxxxxxx#
(where 9xxxxxxxxxxx, is the dial "9" access code to dial outand the number how you would dial it, followed by pound)

so for 555-111-2222...

*07*915551112222#

Once that is done, you need to turn forwarding on:
*01

To turn forwarding off:
*02

Upon entering the codes, you will get a double "blip" tone to confirm the acceptance of the code.
