At power on, enter the bios (usually by tapping a function key like Tab or Del or F2) and change the boot device order to have the CD drive first. Put the disc in the disc drive. Save and continue. Now, you may get a message asking you to "press any key to boot to the CD". Touch any key, and the reload should start.

SOURCE: Only getting EMachines/Windows XP Logo when boot up T3882

you have not set the cdrom as first boot device in the bios (press F2 or Del on boot up to get in bios), choose cd as first boot device, save settings and restart the pc with your cd in the drive and then when prompted press enter

SOURCE: system restore emachines T3504 disc missing,

Is their files that need to be retrieved from the computer? If you were doing a restore they would be lost. You have other options. Your best option is to just purchase a copy of windows xp and install a fresh copy of windows. you will still have to find the drivers on the internet and download and install the. All of this work should really be done by someone who is computer savvy but its really not that difficult.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Lee

It keeps crashing

Your operating system is in need of repair. Use your recovery disk(s) to perform a repair operation. If that is not available and you cannot get on desktop to perform a system restore, you may just have to reload the drive from scratch.

What does BOOTMGR missing mean?

What version of windows do you have? Vista or 7 & you could run the startup repair from a Windows CD.

You might also boot into your windows repair console & at a command prompt type "Bootrec /RebuildBcd"

Attempting a system restore might also be an options.

If none of the above work then I'm afraid you may need to try & backup what information you can by slaving the drive in another system & reloading your operating systems.

Any windows cd that is the same version of your operating system will work as long as you have the CD key on the side of your computer.

I tried to Reboot my pc with System Disc and it is asking for a second disc. I have 1 of 1 system disc. what is disc 2

It may be a content disc. One probably holds your operating system, the other holds your preinstall programs.

If you can't get to the internet, try booting up with your window's operating system disk and doing a repair. It should reload missing files.

Visit the eMachines website, put in your model number: T6536 and then choose Windows XP 32 bit, and download the sound driver:
http://www.emachines.com/ec/en/US/content/drivers.html

Even though you indicate that you have a 64 bit version of Windows XP, the 32 bit driver should work for the sound.
