I want to delete an existing greeting message on the autoattendant. How do I do that?

Okay, it sounds like you're using a standard auto attendant greeting setup.
Try this:
Feature 983
Password: 1020000 (or whatever you have recorded for the password)
Select AA
Select Greeting
Select Greeting again
Enter 1 (for Greeting 1)
You can hit Play to ensure that you are listening to the correct greeting. If not, select another greeting by enter the number 2 for greeting.
Once you have found the greeting that you would like to erase, simply press record and let it record one or two seconds of silence. The greeting will be gone. Press OK to accept the new greeting (silence) and exit the system.

I have recorded my messages and pressed star but messages are not saved

Since * is the exit command, that's entirely possible. If you're trying to record your greetings on a TVA system, it's 5 1 1,2,or 3 to record the 3 greetings, then 1 to stop recording (as soon as you stop talking and 2 to save that recording.

Greeting on line 1 & 2; and a greeting on 3,4,5

depending on what vmail you have you should be able to record a different greeting for the same auto attendant, when you select the lines it is to answer give it the proper aa set up. with the correct greeting for those lines. Again it would be helpful to know what vm you have, definetely with the call pilot this can be done, a little more tricky with the flash vm. Good luck and let me know if you need anymore assistance.
