How do i clear the error
Um I don't know what the other guy is saying since your paper jam has nothing to do with where he is telling to look...
From the service manual:
Error 241 subcode 10:
Page was not properly picked from tray 1.
Possible Causes:
Failure to feed possible causes include:
• Edge locking
• Worn or contaminated pick tires
• Overfilling of tray past the fill line.
Action:
Fan media.
Turn media over.
Reduce amount of media loaded in tray 1.
Replace pick tires.*
To replace pick tires:
Integrated tray autocompensator pick roll assembly removal
1. Remove the integrated tray, and look underneath the printer for the autocompensator arm. Pull the arm
down.
2. Press on the end of the tab (A) and pull the pick roll off the arm. Repeat this step for the pick roll on the other side. Next, gently release the autocompensator arm. Discard the used pick rolls.
Installation
1. Remove the new pick rolls from their packaging.
2. Pull the autocompensator arm down. Locate the recessed area on the pick roll, and align it with the tab on the arm. There are two arrows on each pick roll. Make sure the bottom arrow faces you as you align the recessed area with the tab.
3. Push the pick roll onto the arm with the tab aligned. Repeat this step on the other side to install the other pick roll241.10 paper jam - c7c306e.jpg/>
4. Gently release the autocompensator arm. Insert, integrated tray.

There is a little plastic lip coming up on the right side of the paper tray that actuates the pick assembly to come down upon the paper. If it is missing the rollers will never come down to feed the paper in giving a 241.10. Replace tray if the stub is missing.
Replaced the LCD Panel on a Lexmark T640 and now receiving 950.10 NVRam Error. I have tried to reset the printer and it did not work. I would appreciate if someone could help with a resolution.

I read the manual...lo! There are markers on the inside of the feed tray for various media. Complied with these markers, and no more problem. Should work for paper too.

the machine is trying tell you there is something stuck inside where the switch or the senser is located. usually right before the heater path. after the paper pickup roller.

First try this. Turn off the printer, remove all the cartridges, drum, open all the doors and remove all the trays. Now verify that there's no actual paper jam by exploring through the inside of the printer. You can use a blower to blow any dust or pieces of paper, etc.. from the printer. Now use the manual feed and put in thicker paper several times (push in and pull out). Again reinstall and reconnect every components and boot the printer. If the actual printer's paper sensor isn't broken or stuck or twisted, this will definitely clear the paper jam message on the printer.
If the problem persists, please download this small text file and follow the instructions (click here). Open the link, click "Download Now" button, wait for 20 seconds and again click "Download File Now" link and read the instructions and follow step by step.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Samsuing SCX 4200
would not give up [Paper jam 2 - Check Inside] alarm
no jam, nothing broken, turning off etc. no help
Finally put a sheet in halfway through the manual feed slot
- had door open doing it so I could make sure sheet went far enough so that the little two-pronged black flag right at front of the paper feed opening was kept pushed down by the sheet.
Then used Copy to copy the sheet - this got rid of the false alarm. Prints ok again.
SOURCE: when i try to print anything, i get a message 241 paper jam,
this is most likely to be worn pick up rollers. these are the two rubber wheels that you can see underneath the printer when you remove the tray. you should be able to source these from a local suplier and are very easy to fit. just make sure your gentle with the clip that holds them in place as if they break then you will need to buy a whole new pick up assembaly which is significantly more expensive.
hope this helps

What this light sequence means that the printer has a paper jam.

We recommend that you clear the entire paper path when a paper jam occurs.
To clear a paper jam:
1 If you are feeding paper from a tray, remove the tray, and then remove any jams.
2 Open the front cover and remove the print cartridge assembly.
NOTE: Do not leave the print cartridge assembly exposed to direct light for an Extended period of time. Extended light exposure can cause print quality problems.
3 Remove any jams in the area behind the print cartridge assembly.
4 Lift the flap at the front of the printer and remove any jams beneath the flap.
5 Open the rear exit and remove any jams.
6 After you have cleared the jams, reinstall the print cartridge assembly, make sure all printer covers and trays are closed, and then press Continue button to resume printing.
NOTE: The printer reprints the pages that caused the paper jam.

I am still having the same error 241.10 paper jam - check tray 1 after cleaning out the roller, spray, switch out tone and cartridge.
I have the same problem. But I do know that the rollers have never been changed. I would like to know what the part number or numbers is for the rollers so that I can purchase them.
