I have sony cybershot TSC-W55 camera. When turned on it displayed green color screen, Also when the pictures are taken they are green in color. Can anyone please help and tell me what could be the problem.
When did you get this message? It seems like you have set the White Balance of the camera wrong. Set it to Auto White Balance to eliminate this problem. Use Daylight White Balance when shooting in bright daylight so as to eliminate any color cast in the image.
The W55 is not water-proof. But first let us assume that it is not because of any moisture, because in that case, you will have to send the camera for repair. Let us check if it is due to some menu settings.
The W55 has a color mode from where you can change the color of display. This is accessible through the main menu. Try to change this. If this fails to solve the problem, you need to approach the nearest authorized service center.

Thanks for the reply. but I have not made any changes to the setting. Its auto white balance only. Does any damage cause this problem or may be moist content? This happened while clicking pictures on a beach.
I checked the color mode. I have the following options i.e B&W, Sepia, Natural, Rich, Normal. I have selected the Normal one. still the screen in green. Even if I change to Natural/Rich, its the same. Only for B&W and Sepia it changes.
