Handle to short for tall person

The stroller handles are too short for my tall husband. Are there handle extensions available so he does not have to hunch while pushing the stroller?

SOURCE: how do i lock the stroller when closed/collapsed.

Hi,

It will depend on which model you have. If you have the older version, then there will be a nylon strap (usually found around the bag at the back of the chassis) this strap has a black plastic snap lock on that will go around the handle bar when closed and keep it closed.
If you have the newer version, this will automatically lock shut via a grey plastic clip on the side of the chassis.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Link between handles needs replacing. Are parts

Hi,

This is called the "hand grip connection bar". Your dealer should be able to get this part for you. Please ask for part number SPQ465230.
It is also available on our website. Please follow this link:
http://www.babycare.nl/quinny-zapp-hand-grip-connection-bar-p-2094.html
Please note that the connection bar is attached by rivets. Before trying this yourself, please make sure you have the proper tools. If not, mounting the part is best done through your dealer.

I hope this helps.

Can I modify the handle bars on a Frog? I need to lower them for Mum under 5ft tall? Take then off and replace with adjustable handlebar? Which part would I need to purchase? Is it in stock? price?

The Cameleon has the adjustable handle it is not available as a part only as a complete chassis for around $400 www.babycare.nl/bugaboo-cameleon-chassis-p-2466.html. Your Frog wheels, seat etc would fit. If you found a broken Cam frame on eBay you could swap the handles. Your Frog would have the parts required to fix the Cam. Click on this link to my tips section www.fixya.com/support/r7805199-fix_bugaboo_handle_lock. Note as you don't need the old Frog handle you could try prizing off and reusing the domes but I don't recommend that. Brake cable is compatible.

How do you oil a bugaboo pram ? Mine is making a horrible squeaking noise. Thank you Megan

Use silicon spray not oil based lubricants like WD40 . Lubricate the wheels and brake lever avoid the handle extension locking levers and the upper handle. Once a month spray some in to the handle locks. Look on the inside of the handle where it joins onto the plastic hubs. You'll see a slot in the plastic part and a wire rod in that slot. SPRAY IT!!! It will save you big $$$ in the long run. If wheels feel gritty remove from stroller and drop them in a bucket of hot soapy water. Rinse under running water give them a good spray of silicon and wipe off excess with a paper towel.

The stroller is steering to the left. The tires are all full of air. Thanks Hannah

If all four wheels spin freely and the front ones can rotate freely your problem is with the handle either the handle locks or the extension locks. Click on my name and check my tips section.

My bugaboo is with soft handle, how to fix it?

Not sure what you mean by soft handle? Bugaboo's have two places on the handle where they fail. The handle lock in the central hub or the extension lock levers at the top end of the handle. I have covered both issues in previous answers so click on my icon and check them out.

My bugaboo keeps pulling to one side? What's wrong with it?

First check that the handle extension locks hold properly and the handle is not slipping on on side. A handle lock problem (the part that allows the handle to swing from back to front) should be obvious but check both are locking and have the same amount of play. Finally check all four wheels spin freely and the smaller front set can both rotate freely. Your Bugaboo maintenance kit came with a small can of silicon spray. Use it regularly (once every month or two) to lubricate the handle lock, brake lever and wheels. If you find a specific problem let me know and I'll try to help.

I am looking for a new rounded handle bar that you use to push the stroller along with. The foam on my one is damaged

unfortunately I believe you have to buy a new chassis jus for the handle bar. The best way is to just buy a handle bar cover for the handle bar. That will cover the damage and also protect it from further damage.

Broken handle

Ooo, an airline damaged my handle of my Maclaren XT last year. If you go to your local baby shop and ask if they act as Maclaren agents, they can order you 2 new handles, here in Australia they quoted my $39. I had to get my husbands work to pop the existing rivits and then Maclaren supplied screws to attach the new handles sent.

Hope this helps.
