This vergonwhy printer HP 2015N always losing configuration Network .

Can you clarify a little better. HP had an issue with some of this generation printers when used with some types of routers such as Cisco. The problem is that to reduce network traffic, these printers go silent. But the Cisco routers will then drop the IP address is it has not been able to communicate for a certain period of time. You need to add a static entry in the ARP table so that the printer stays live all the time in the routing tables. Or, the formatter is getting flaky.

Reset brother mfc8880dn

If you wish to reset the print server back to its default factory settings (resetting all information such as the password and IP address information), please follow these steps. Before you factory reset the print server, we recommend that you print a configuration page before resetting the print server.
<For BRAdmin Professional ver.2.xx Users>
Start the BRAdmin Professional utility, by clicking Start => All Programs or Programs => Brother Administrator Utilities => Brother BRAdmin Professional Utilities => BRAdmin Professional.
  1. From the main BRAdmin screen double click the appropriate printer.

  3. Click the Control tab
  4. Click the Restore Factory Defaults button

Via a web browser
Because web based management requires the TCP/IP protocol for communication, any reset option you see when managing the machine with a web browser, will not reset the IP address details that are set. If you wish to totally reset all the print server parameters we recommend you reset the print server by using the BRAdmin application.
To reset the print server (excluding TCP/IP parameters) follow these steps:
  1. Connect to the printer using a web browser.
  2. Click Network Configuration.
  3. Enter the print server password (the print server password is detailed in the user guide for the print server) if it's applicable.
  4. Click the Set Default link or Reset Print Server.
Via the control panel (only for network ready models)
  1. Make sure the machine is not operating, then disconnect all the cables from the machine (except power cable).
  2. Press the Menu or Menu/Set key on the control panel.
  3. Press up or down navigation key to select LAN or Network and press Set, Menu/Set or OK.
  4. Press up or down navigation key to select Factory Reset or Network Reset and press Set, Menu/Set or OK.
  5. Select Reset.
  6. Select Yes.
  7. The machine will re-start, re-connect cables once this is complete.

Need to hard reset westell 7500 modem to factory defaults..cust chngd admin password and can't remember what they chngd it to and i need to get into modem

  • Note: Resetting your router to the factory defaults not only changes your router user name and password to the factory default values, but it also deletes all your home network settings. This includes the SSID and network encryption key. After you reset your router to the factory defaults, your home network won't be accessible until you reconfigure your router and all your network devices to use the same SSID and encryption key.
To reset your VersaLink 7500 gateway to the factory settings:

  1. Hold the reset button on the back panel of the VersaLink 7500 gateway for 30 seconds.
    • All your settings will be lost including network encryption information and any SSID information you have entered.
    • The gateway user name and password will revert to the default of Admin as the user name and Password as the password.

  2. Your VersaLink 7500 gateway is now using the default settings for the network configuration. This includes the default SSID and network encryption key. You must re-configure your VersaLink gateway to match your previous settings that were assigned to all other devices on your wireless network. Otherwise, no other network devices will be recognized.

Ant get a network --lost password

If you forgot the password, resetting the router will allow you to access the router's configuration screen again. However, this will reset the router to the factory default settings default, and you will have to reconfigure the router.

Instructions for the router:

http://www.belkin.com/PDF/F7D1301_Basic_Router.pdf

From page 12: Reset Button on the back of the router.
This button is used to restart your Router in rare cases when it functions incorrectly. Resetting the Router will preserve your settings. This button may also be used to restore the factory default settings. Please see the Troubleshooting section (page 15) for more information.

Try doing a factory reset to your phone. Just make sure you back up your data first. Your network problem may have been configured incorrectly. Resetting to default settings may resolves this.

I set the Ip address manually to 192.168.1.0 and now I can not connect to the media vault and/or the control center

That is not a valid IP address.
IP addresses must end with .1 to .254
I am surprised that it let you set it to zero

Best bet is to reset the media vault to factory defaults and then follow the manual to set it up. Go to support.hp.com for more info.

If this helps, please vote for my solution.
