Question about Motorola Mobility H710 Bluetooth Headset

Motorola h710 bluetooth will connect to phone but no audio

I can get my phone to say the bluetooth is connected but when I'm making or receiving calls or trying to talk, the bluetooth has no audio. The audio is coming through my phone only. The volume is turned on the bluetooth, and my phone is showing the icon that the bluetooth is connected and that sound should be coming through that not the phone!! So basically it's not working, but saying it's connected.

i had the same problem, all i did was disable bluetooth (remove completely). Shut off your phone, and re pair it...and that will solve the issue.

I disabled the bluetooth from my phone. I then turned off my phone and rebooted it. Once the phone was turned back on, I paired it up with the bluetooth and then it worked. So disabling and removing everything and starting over worked.

If you need instructions on pairing the bluetooth back to your phone, check the video on www.HandBookLive.com under Electronics category. It has chapter on pairing with Motorola phone or Nokia phone. Other chapters go over regular button operations

Can't tell whether I can receive/talk on my actual phone

While on a call, the menu will show a selection of all connection options. Pick the phone not the car.
Or turn off bluetooth while away from the car.
This is actually bogus as blutooth only has a range of 30 feet.

Unable to play music files from mobile, saying no audio device connected, whereas i can receive the call from the system. Thanks, ..Amit

Your stereo have the bluetooth connection to be used only for the headset profile (IE to making and receiving calls). To read the music from the phone you need to connect it using a USB cable and put the phone on "Memory card" or "Mass storage" USB mode.
If that doesn't work is because some phones simply can't be read with devices other than computers because they use windows drivers to enable the data access.

What i need to activate the bluetooth on my jvc kw avx800 exadmy cell phone is a nokia 5310

To activate your bluetooth phone you'll need to connect the KS-BTA200 adapter I have the same radio with the adapter and love it. You pair the phone with the radio so when you get a call it mutes the unit the phone number shows on the video screen you tap the number on the screen to accept the call, you mount the mic on the visor and talk .

Enjoy

I had a Garmin installed in my new Volvo XC90. When I make or receive a call with my paired cell phone, I have no audio either through the phone or the car speaker. I cannot hear the caller or vice verse....

What model number is the GARMIN GPS?

Is your new Volvo equipped with the Bluetooth handsfree system?

It's possible that your GARMIN has paired itself to your cellphone unintentionally via Bluetooth (many GARMIN units have Bluetooth), and therefore intercepting your cellphone audio.

If you >intended< to use the GARMIN for this puropse, maybe your hands-free system in the Volvo is competing for your cellphone audio, and needs to be de-activated.

More info please :-)
