Can this camera be RESET? Camera Stuck in Clock set mode.

I can turn the camera on and off. No other buttons work. It is stuck in the clock set mode. The screen shows available setting for date time but I cannot change anything. Somtimes when I take out the batteries and put them back, I turn it on and the camera scrolls through the selections for Date time but I still cannot change the time or date or ANYTHING else.

How do i get the timer setting on my camera?

Press and hold the shooting mode button (to the right of the display panel on top, marked with overlapping rectangles) and turn the command dial on the back to change shooting modes. The self-timer is the one with a one-handed clock. (And just the one-handed clock. Don't select the one with the one-handed clock and a rectangle representing the remote control.)

How to print pics with the date stamp from canon A580

The date stamp feature on this camera will only work in postcard mode- resolution set to 2M (1600 x 1200) and compression set to fine. You have to set the picture mode to that first. You also have to set the date and time if it isn't set already.

To set the mode quickly, set the mode switch to camera, turn the mode dial to A (auto), then press Func. button, scroll down to the "L", scroll across to the mountains with the clock dial, then press the Disp. button to turn date prinitng on and off.

Kleenmaid Scala Oven. My oven will not turn on.

I had exactly the same problem. I followed the directions to reset the clock. That is the cooking button and finish cooking button. They look like a caserole dish and a casserole dish with a cross through it. Hold them down at the same time and the + and - button to advance the time. Be aware I had to try this a few times before it worked. Hope this helps, Dean

CoolpixS51 camera stuck on set time and date

Not 100% sure about this model, but most have another battery in the camera for the clock functions. That battery could be low.
Try looking in the manual for the clock battery and pull that and replace it. See if that helps.

Stuck in demo mode

When you are in STANDBY mode hold the menu button for a few seconds and a special menu should pop up. In this menu you should be able to set the clock, turn off or on the beep, and take your unit out of demo mode. Good luck.
