Toshiba satellit L875d-s7332 froze during factory recovery now says no bootable device

Asked to factory recover after password would not work. Computer froze while in recovery. Now says no bootable device -- please restart system

    f8 nor 0 work to get to the system recovery. The system goes straight to no bootable devices -- restart system. F2 and F12 work and recognize the HD. I've ordered the system recovery dvd from toshiba. Thanks for help.

It could be a hard drive crash. Can you refort the hard drive and see if you get any errors.

Check to see if you have any scratched on the CD.

When you turn it on, try pressing the F8 key repeatedly and when you have a menu, choose "Safe Mode with network support" and see if you can get to your desktop that way.
