A few weeks ago the driver window stopped working then today the door will not open from the inside what do i do ??? it locks and opens from te outside.
Your inside door handle is probably broken. The gear has stripped causing it not to work. Remove the door panel to verify the rod for the inside handle is not moving. .

The windows are controlled through a central module called the BCM or GEM, it must be tested, it will check the system it controls and return fault codes for any problems it finds during the test.
The usual source for the window problem is the wiring between the inside front door and the kick panel where the wires run in a harness and are usually rubber booted. Everytime the door opens and closes the wires are bent back and forth and they break.
Check the master window control panel on the drivers door. There is probably a lockout switch. It may have a window outline on one end and the same outline with an "X" over it on the other. Press the outline without the "X" and all your windows should work again. As silly as that sounds, a lot of folks hit the lockout switch and don't know it. On the other hand, the lockout switch is bad.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I took it to a mechanic who has the same vehicle and he said it was the switch in my driver side door panel. Not that big a deal, but a little costly and the switch has to be programmed by a dealer wich is BS. The mechanic put the switch on and it will work on all my other windows except my driver window. so good luck.
