In order to pair it with your phone, it must be in pairing mode first. If it has never been paired to another device before, just by opening the boom, the indicator light should flash alternately in red and blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Otherwise, to force it to go into pairing mode, press and hold the volume (either + or -) whist opening the boom. It should flash alternately in red and blue. Only then, make the other device's b'luetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the VMX100 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful. Now, ot pair it with the other device (the VMX100 is able to pair to up to 4 different devices), make sure the previous device has its bluetooth radio turned off. Then, repeat the pairing process with the other device.

Not discoverable by iphone
In order to pair it with your phone, it must be in pairing mode first. You can pair your headset with other devices too (the VMX100 is able to pair to up to 4 different devices). If you wish to do so, make sure that all devices previously paired with it have their bluetooth radios turned off. Then, repeat the pairing process for each one of the new devices.

Iphone 4 does not pair sennheiser vmx 100
To Pair the Sennheiser VMX 100 headset with your iPhone or other cell phone:
At the same time as you open the mic, you also need to push down on the bottom/volume-down button on the side of the earpiece and hold this down (at the same time as opening the mic) until the light flashes red and blue alternating. (Just to clarify, it is the button that has an arrow pointing toward the Sennheiser logo). If asked for a code, enter "0000" (four zeros).
This video shows the bluetooth earpiece connecting to an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0 (not jailbroken). This is the standard way to pair these devices, but as a disclaimer:
If anything should happen to your phone or your Bluetooth earpiece, it is not my fault.

I broke my mobile (Blackbarry) where i had my Sennheiser VMX100 connected. I have now got a new mobile but cant get is connected via bluetooth. Can you offer any help?

The indicator light should be flashing alternately in red and blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Release the volume key. Only then, make your phone search for new devices. After a while, the VMX100 should appear on its screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode (the indicator light flashes slowly in blue).

I have a Bluetooth headset VMX 100. I paired it with my iPhone, I can make phones, but I cannot listen to the music from my iPhone, or the VMX100 designed to not to listen any music. Thanks
In order to have music streamed to a bluetooth headset, it must bear A2DP (Avanced Audio Distribution Profile). You see, all stereo bluetooth headsets available on the market do support that profile. Nevertheless, the VMX100 is a monaural headset, thus bearing both HFP (Hands Free Profile) and HSP (HeadSet Profile) only, which are suitable for phone calls only.
Well, depeniding on your phone platform, you might find applications around which route all audio to a monaural bluetooth headset. However, you would, most probably, find the sound quality to be pretty poor.
