problem is not clear.u change fax roll when it was finished.if fax was printing before ending roll .i think u have installed roll with wrong side .thermal roll only prints with one side which is coated .just see inside machine there will bi a paper for installing roll direction.if not just check thermal head .clean it check its supply.or just replace.it mian jee

there is a 4 digit pin or may be more numbers either on the bottom of the machine or with thre manual that came with the machine usually when you retrieve from the out side u pucnch un the numbers and lets u get your messages. good luck

check weather the phone cord is connected in teh line jack on teh fax not in the extension>and set resolution-standard>and auto answer mode-o>and error correction mode-off>or u have over seas mode-it should be on>u have either any one of this>and baud rate-9600> check with band width on the pc>and reboot it>and check rate me solved if its help full
