NO volume Not sure if correct input sourse, S Video is how it is hooked up.. Vol worked yesterday, and currently works with dvd. A setting may have been changed in the menu. Have picture but not volume

Hummmm... the YELLOW RCA should be your VIDEO cable and have VIDEO signals.

Are you SURE your TV is set to the CORRECT "INPUT" SETTING? And DO YOU hear and audio>?

check your speaker wires make sure there hooked up correct the ground wires are as important as the pos if you have any crossed you wont get vol.

Make sure that the volume is not muted or too low on the TV...the TV volume output to your receiver will be performing the function of a pre-amp to your receiver. Then select the appropriate input on the receiver that you have the TV audio connected to.

To change the ringer volume: while the phone is on the hook press the Vol + or Vol - button. The phone rings according to the current setting. Tap the Vol + or Vol - button to adjust the volume one setting at a time. The phone stores the setting after the last button press.

To change the speakerphone, handset, and headset volume: while the phone is in use in the desired mode, press the Vol + or Vol - button. The phone stores the setting after the last button press.

Please few things...
1- Make sure audio and video wires are hooked correctly in AV input of tv and you selected that AV input in tv with its remote.
2- Also check your dvd has not been set on progressive mode if you hook dvd player through yellow-red-white wires with tv.
3- if dvd player is set on progressive mode, then hook it with tv by component video input, red-green-blue for video and red-white for audio.

The way to hook up the dvd player to the television to to put a cable into the output signal section of the dvd player( Ther may be many different ways to hook-up the signal s-video and component video, regular video. You must pick one of these output signal sources to put into the input section of your television by matching them up i.e s-video out to s-video input compnent video output to component video input, regular video out to regular video input. For each of these video hook-ups there will also be a set of two sound cables. Look on the back of your television for the signal input section and hook up the video cables and the sound cables to your selected input. You should do this with both units turned off in order not to damage the circuits by shorting them on cable insertions ofr causing heavy feedback in the circuits. One this connection is complete. Trun on the television first and select the TV's signal source . By pressing the input button and using the up and down arrows to find the correct selection. By matching up all three sources you now should have the correct signal path. Turn your DVD and test the controls. try using the volume control and use you dvd to to play,ff, or stop the dvd.If all this works then you have done the set up correctly and can now enjoy your dvd's on the television Hope this helps you with your problem..

I had the same problem. I hooked up the DVD player and then got into the set up. I used the add/erase feature to go through all of the channels. At channel 91, I saw the logo for the dvd player. I added that channel and now the dvd player works.

1) First check the mute.
2) Make sure there aren’t headphones plugged in, that will disable the speakers.
3) Check the audio setup
4) Check your Volume lock


Changing Volume Lock
The remote comes preset to allow independent volume control of each selected device (Global Volume Unlock).
However, you may change the Volume Lock setting to Global Volume Lock so that one device’s volume will
control volume in all other modes. After that, you can perform Individual Volume Unlock on a selected device to
set its volume control for independent operation or Global Volume Unlock to remove all volume locking.
Locking Volume Control to One Mode (Global Volume Lock)
1. Press and hold SET until the red LED blinks twice; then release.
2. Enter 9-9-3 and then press the mode key for the device you want to control volume (for example, TV).
The LED blinks twice. Now when you press VOL+, VOL-, or Mute, the selected device (for example,
TV) will control the volume regardless of the current mode.
Unlocking All Volume Control (Restoring Global Unlock)
1. Press and hold SET until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

Go into the manual setup on the GUI then go to the zone 2 and zone 3 setup. If you are using only the power from the receiver to power the speakers, make sure the setting is for Zone 3 amp "INT" if you still have no volume, on the front of the receiver look at the display, make sure "zone 3" is lit up then use the small remote and turn up the vol. if it's on you will see "zone 3 vol" and the bar going up it should be ok. if it says "fixed" it thinks you have an external volume control, if you do, make sure it's "on" at about 12 o'clock and test. If not, you need to switch it in the on screen "menu" or "GUI" button, follow to zone 2 & 3 vol control and make sure it is set to variable. If you still have no vol post a comment and we can dig further. Hope this helps
