I have a copy of the owner's manual for my 6041. If you would like, I can scan it and email it to you.

The mitsubishi model vs-60805 tv will provide air channels off of cable hook-up, but does not provide cable channels. What needs to be done to recieve cable channels? The menu does not provide an apparent...

Hi,
Mitsubishi VS-60805 is 1999 model tv and unable to receive digital cable channels because it is equipped with analog tuner that can not receive cable channels because it is almost 11 years old.
You need to hook Cable Box in AV input of tv, plug digital cable in cable box and get digital cable channels in tv. Cable box has its own remote control and inbuilt digital tuner to receive all digital cable channels and widely available in Store, Radio Shake, amazon.com etc.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Mitsubishi VS-6041 focus issue

Try adjusting the sharpness in your TV's menu. If it's not just that, then perhaps the tube/LCD display is simply degrading.

Mitsubishi diva cant tune in

well .... no online user manuals for thoseTVs
you will need to use a digital seck top box and use that units remote to tune the TV

if there are any (needs a user manaual)
use the buttons on the TV lower casing
to tune up

none of the all in ones remote buttons work for all TVs functions
you are lucky if it turns on and off
and changes channel

Vs 6041

Hello bgill,

At first I thought this was a problem with the bulb, but as I read further into your description of the problem the more it sounded like a control processor issue. The fact that the TV acts normal when the volume control is pressed, indicates that the control processor might be going bad, or at least some of the processor biasing circuitry might be going bad. The circuitry in question is somehow linked to either the bulb control circuitry.

You will have to have a qualified TV technician look at this set to determine what the problem is

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Shuttle83.

HOOK UP INFORMATION

The cable should be on the Input to RF connector. Then you should reprogram tv for cable channels. If you have dvd then it should go to the inputs for 1/2/3 A/V inputs yellow for video, red for right audio and white for left audio. Color coded! Hope this helps!

Mitsubishi vs-45609

You should have two antenna inputs A & B. Most commonly the RF or TV output on the back of the cable box is connected to antenna A and the TV has to be set for channel 3 or 4 depending on which station is not available in your area. If you don't get a picture on 3 or 4 then switch the cable box to antenna B or find the switch on the remote that allows you to remotly switch antenna inputs. If your TV has a connection that says "cable out" don't use that one as that is for a more complex setup. I hope this helps you.
