Want to connect it to my verizon wireless internet box not the right cable

The Xfinity Cable Service is also an Internet service provider then you need a cable modem with a built-in wireless router.
Check with Xfinity and if they are also an Internet Service provider then they can also supply this cable modem/wireless router.

this works on it's own. like it is needed to connect to verizon wireless internet. your internal on the other hand is designed to work with a home networking equipment such a wireless router (one that is connected to the internet via DSL / Fiber / Cable / etc).

Dell uses it own wireless utility ..

1. Open the Dell wireless Utility and uncheck the box at the top that says "Let this tool manage your wireless networks". You may then need to open Network Connections, right click the Wireless connection and select Properties, click on the Wireless Networks tab and check the box next "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings".

Though Belkin play router has a USB port on it, it would not accept the input via that port there by you can not connected the USB connection from Verizon to the router. You need to switch from USB connection to Ethernet connection on the Verizon modem contacting verizon.

It is not possible to stick your usb in to your wii and let it connect on to the internet. However, you can plug it into a computer, which makes it give off a wireless signal. Your wii should be able to pick up the signal, so you can then connect to the internet. If your not sure how to configure the wii to connect to the internet, email me at [email protected]

Wellll....since it seemed an impossible task, I tried the next best thing.
I bought a wireless adapter for the other pc and voila! they are on the internet, and I am returning the router.

Westell modem + Verizon DSL w/usb = No connection to router.

I have a wireless connection also, I am at a hotel using my wii. I called the helpdesk number that they go through. So if you are using verizon, call the verizon wireless line for the connection. They will probably assist you with your problem. I had to give them my i.p address for my wii console, they set it up on there end and it was connected

Unfortunately the PS3 will not be recieving internet through this device, the USB connectors are set up to only work with PC or MAC specifically for that reason that gamers cannot use their Xbox or Playstation, and that is because Verizon offers a Wireless router cell phone data device which costs almost a thousand dollars, definately not worth it.

Try to delete all the prefered networks. Right-Click Wireless Network Connection, View Available Wireless Networks. Click on Change the Order of Prefered Networks. Remove all prefered networks there and click OK. Now try to View the available wireless networks again, reconnect to your own wireless network and see if it connects fine. Post your feedback.

Does this mean that its the laptop that can't get a wireless connection? Just want to clarify before giving out more steps that you can try.
