Hiya,

Make sure back speaker's power amplifier is set to the correct channel

Check the surround back speaker setting is set to something other than "NONE"

Check that the surround sound playback mode is set to either 6.1 or 7.1

Hope that helps

On this reciever you have rear surround and rear back spkrs, if your using the surr back they have to be assigned if unassigned in the settings. If using rear surr spkrs change your surr field to 5ch stereo and your rear speakers will work.
There is no 7.5 unless you have 5 subs the 7 is the total number of speakers and the .1 is the number of subs in the system

I CANNOT GET THE WIRELESS REAR SPEAKERS TO WORK. ALL I GET IS A VERY FAINT STATIC.

I just fixed this problem with my theatre system. First, if you use speaker wire and not plugs, pull out, than reinsert the wiring, sometime it doesn't properly connect. Make sure that your sound field is turned to Surround Sound. Funnily enough, these are the two most common issues.
Then check rear speaker volume. If there is a switch or button to choose A, B or A+B speakers, attempt adjusting this.
That should do it. Even if you're not playing surround enabled content, but to be safe, ensure you are.

The rear and centre speakers are not working but the front and subwoofer speakers are working. What do I need to do to get the three working. In the booklet it says the rear speakers might not work becasue...

From them manual Troubleshooting section:

"When listening to a CD or radio, sound is output to the front
speakers (L/R) only. Select "PRO LOGIC II" by pressing
PL II (Dolby Pro Logic II) on the remote control to use all
six speakers.
• Make sure that the DVD disc is 5.1-CH compatible.
• If you set C, SL, and SR to NONE in the speaker mode in the
audio setup of the setup screen, no sound is heard from the
center speaker and the rear left and right speakers. Set C,
SL, and SR to SMALL."

This means you might want to check your speaker settings again and make sure the Cenyer and Surrounds are defined.

How do i put the surrround sound on my tv?

Depends on the complexity of your home theater system, but if you are just wanting to get sound from your tv to a generic souround sound, this is very simple. On the back of your tv, there is a audio output with 2 rca connectors. One is white and one is red. Also on the back of the sound system is the same colored inputs. Get the needed cable to connect the 2. You should have surround sound. Given you tv doesnt have audio outputs, your media player ( dvd, vcr, blue ray, sattelite) should have an audio output. Connect the electronic the same way as stated above.

If you are connecting a 5.1 surrround sound rather than 7.1, have you connected the surround speakers to the surround left and surround right rather than surround back left and surround back right?

I have a set of RM300 Polk sub-sattelite speakers. Have had them for some time and still love em but.... The foam surrrounds on the bigger sattelites have disintegrated. Polk says too old cant fix. ...

Yes they can be re-surrounded. It is not that hard, it just taes some practice. How big are the speakers? Look for a local speaker repair shop. They are few, but still exist. The hardest part is finding the correct surround. As long as the remainder of the speaker is in good shape, you will find these to be good as new once done. FIrgure about 2-3 days to complete the job properly.
