MY KINGSTON 2GB pen drive shows zero spacing......

When i insert athe pen drive into pc and try to format it it shows that pen drive can not be formatted. and it show RAW file ...and shows zero space.......please

What have you done to this Kinston pen drive since you find it is inaccessible and also cannot be formatted due to RAW file system? Have you left any important file, video, audio and song on this pen drive? If you do want to extract the left useful files inside this RAW pen drive, I know there is RAW file system pen drive data recovery software that can help you recover desired data from RAW flash drive asking to format.

Do you still have warranty for the Pen drive, suggest you take it to the shop you bought it. you seem to have got a defective ped drive. also if you have the serial numbers, check online with Kingston to see if you have got a genuine kingston product.

your usb drive has a virus or file that cannot be read. try format on mac pc. if it still cant read your usb flash is damage.

Try checking for hidden files else format the pen drive and you should get the entire space

8 gb kingston Data Traveller showing zero disk space

All you need to do is to format the Pen Drive.
Open My computer.
Right Click on Pen drive.
Then click on Format. You will get different options like quick format or such.
Select the option that says complete format.
Once you format the drive you will be able to use it.

Do not showing full space

Hi,

I think the problem is due to a virus. Your system or hard drive (PAN drive) might have a virus. It is the virus causing your hard drive not showing full space. i suggest you install a good antivirus to your computer like kaspersky and NOD32 and scan the PAN drive and formate it.
go to kioskea downloads - system - formatting, and download the USB DISK STORAGE FORMAT TOOL,
intall it on your pc and use it to format your drive. its simple ans easy. another way is-
You can format the pen drive from hp usb disk format util.. u can download form following link

Newly bought 2GB DataTraveler only show 1GB capacity

Did you read the emanual that is on the Kindston's website for the DataTraveller? When you use the password protection program, it logs you IN to another partition you created when you started it the first time. It logs you off of the normal drive partition and in to the password protected partition.

Both exist on the same pen drive but can not be accessed at the same time. Try logging off using the same program or if there's such a logoff shortcut anywhere on the pendrive, yo should be back to the normal 2GB partition.
