Fuel Spurting out fuel line, above my engine

I turn on my car today and popped my hood to check if everything is good and find out that above my engine where both fuel lines link up there is a little black tube that connect the bottom fuel line to the top then runs thru the clear little pipe is spurting out gas. Could it be loose, a clog, or maybe a hole? should i replace all of my fuel lines?

Sounds like it has been rigged up there should not be any clear lines. Clear lines or tubing is low pressure and not meant for fuel yes change all lines to high pressure fuel lines.

SOURCE: fuel like issue; nissan sunny (sentra) b14

First from the fuel tank in side the fuel tank there is filter remove the screws on the top where the fuel gauge fitted when you remove gauge you can see fillter that is one sometimes blocked.

Next if you check fuel filter it is ok, but nissan sunny has fuel filter inside the caburator where fitted fuel pipe from the fillter clean that filler.

ather thiing is check your connections any leak or loose.

SOURCE: 1997 Nissan Hardbody has rough idle/surges/stalls

the 2001 altima is what i have and I had the same problem as you. turned out to be a bad head gasket factory used cheap ones for a few years before they found the problem. one way to test this is to get a can of carborator cleaner and spray it around the area where the head meets the block under the intake problem should be around the 4th cylinder or close to driver side. if the head gasket is bad the rough idle will smooth out while you are spraying the head.

I have gas spurting from a fuel line at the top backsde of motor when the key is turned on, what fuel line is it and how hard is it to fix

Fuel lines could be a real bear to get to. Try locating where the leak is coming from. It may not be where the drips are. The fuel line may be pressurized, so you need to be cautious.

Chevy Tahoe 2000 Z71 won't start!

Just for the record, its a throttle body not a carb.
Sounds like the injectors are not getting power or a ground signal from the computer.
You would check them with a meter or low voltage test light.

Smelled gas in the cab of car. Looked under hood and gas was spurting out of gas line near engine. How to repair it?

I would strongly advise that ask a local mechanic to inspect and repair ,its simple to do but some fuel lines have special end connections that require special tools.

I have an '04 Explorer Sport Trac. When my girlfriend went to start it today she said "check fuel pump" popped up on the screen then it died and wont crank back up. Any suggestions?

seperate the fuel line at the fuel injecter, turn the engine over if fuel comes out , more than likely it is not the pump, if you get no fuel, change the filter, try again, if no fuel most fuel pumps today are in the tank, drop tank change pump

Ran yesturday, tried today no fuel in lines, or pressure in rail, fuel pump not activating

Check the fuel pump fuse and relay under the hood in the fuse panel. If both fuse and relay are good then fuel pump may be at fault, but it seems too new for a fuel pump replacement. Hope this helps. Keep me posted please. Good luck

How to check fuel pressure regulator 1990 300zx na

Multi point injection systems run at about 45-55 psi. When the key is turned on,engine off, fuel pump will run for a short time to prime the fuel rail. At this time the tester should read normal pressure or a little higher.

You need to use a pressure gauge and run it in-line with the fuel lines. Pop the hood and look to the left. Just above where the strut mounts you will see a round silver filter. You need to remove the fuel line there and place your pressure gauge in line of that.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Acts like its running out of gas, raw gas smell

this suggests you have a fuel leak in the engine compartment. Possibly a leaking fuel manifold (injection rail), or the rubber line from the fuel tank is leaking where it attaches to the manifold. The fuel line to the cold start injector should also be checked. Rubber hoses on older cars become brittle and as they contract from very cold weather will leak. Turn the key to on for 1 minute but do not start the car. Then check under the hood for a raw fuel wet spot where the leak is.
