Gateway mx6453 powers off at random times

Generally the power is soldered directly on to the motherboard on a laptop. So for the most part replacing it either means, finding an identical power supply and being really good at soldering, or replacing the motherboard. Either way if you are not very familiar with taking laptops apart, and computers in general, I would recommend you take it to someone who repairs them for a living.

If the laptop is still relatively new....check with Gateway to see if it's under warranty. If it is, they should fix it or replace it for free. If it is beyond warranty, you may find it comes out more expensive to fix, than just buying a new laptop.

Ok you need to download new audio driver for your laptop,,make sure driver for the windows you are runing on your laptop,,you should be able to get driver from the gateway website,,jus searchonline,,like ,,download audio driver for gateway mx6453,,and then windows xp,,or vista,,7,,or which ever one you have on there,,,goodluck

no u just need a dc socket replacement but an expert has to do that using soldering iron

hi it sounds like you need to get a new power jack for your laptop.

Your RAM may be faulty or not making proper electrical connection.
Try reseating your RAM (memory module/s).
