?videos and movies to my archos5

Please give complete detailed directions to put videos and movies onto my new archos5---- any assistance would be greatly appreciated

No they are not. How do I get DVDs on the archos 5. also where can I get videos from the internet.

Are the movies already on your computer and in a format readable by the Archos 5?

Without the video podcast plugin you can only use wmv and avi formats if you have the plugin then mp4 quicktime and ipod video should work.. Following lisks are for free Archos games and movies. Movies actualy for psp but as i said if you have plugin they shoul work or you can convert them to avi or wmv

Simply connect your archos to your pc and enable the usb connection from the unit when it asks open the archos files from the computer create desired folder under the music folder copy and paste or drag and drop

I can't get the movies from the mini DV to my mac.

You will not be able to directly copy them to your mac. You will need to capture the video from the camcorder onto your computer using imovie. If you do not know how to do this let me know the Mac OS version you are using so that I can give you the detailed instructions

I have a Flip Video recorder. My movies are currently saved on YouTube . . . I would like to create a project using the videos saved on YouTube but cannot figure out how to "drag" or import them...

If you mean you want to download youtube videos to put into a project, than you can go to keepvid.com to download them, or download a program like youtube downloader .As long as they are not on your computer, than you can not use them. Youtube itself will not let you download from the site directly, but it is completely legal to do so with other programs.

I have a Daewoo DHR-8115D DVD Recorder . When I record to HDD it works , but when I want to record to a dvd it wont . I cant even watch dvd movies which I have rented . Please assist !!

you cant record directly onto the disk, it records onto the harddrive. Click ''menu'' on the remote and the HDD videos and select a video/s the click dubbing, only works with DVDRW. To transfer it to your computer you need a dvd ripper

there is not enough here to give a complete solution to your issue.

If you are having a issue with the CD then you will have to download the information directly from the site via a hard connection that is via the Ethernet cable plugged directly to the router.

My ps3 keeps shutting off my movie that i am playing off a usb chip? is there any reason why this is happening?

Your movie could be corrupted and ends after a certain amount of time. or your USBthumbdrive could be cutting out and stops streaming the video. Try placing a movie directly onto the Ps3 and make sure it isn't the movie file. If it is than you don't need a new USB, If it doesnt stop then its your USB, and you may need to purchase a new thumbdrive.

Putting my movies onto PC

It appears you are using a compact VHS camcorder. VHS is analog data, so you cannot directly transfer the movies to your pc as you can with mini DV or Hard Disk camcorders. You would have to "play" them into your computer with some kind of video capture device.
Here is an example of such a device:
