Haier beer dispenser stopped working. plug it in and it hums and the it clicks off.

The compressor has a start device that could be the problem. If you remove it it should not rattle if it does it is very likely the problem. If it doesn't rattle then it could be your compressor. Check the start device first. it is located directly on the side of the compressor. and is easy to remove and install anoter.

Yes it is a very big concern.It sounds to me like your condenser is dirty and the compressor gets hot and goes off on overload.You can tell by putting your hand NEAR the compressor.Be careful as the compressor can be very hot

Try to change the capacitor and start relay first...then maybe if that don't work the compressor...

It's not condenser it is the compressor.
You may have a bad capicator or relay.
Try putting a HARD START KIT on the compressor and it should be fine

Sounds like the main control board is bad . Pt # WR55X10656 . This board is located behind the 8 " X 10 " , panel just above the compressor compartment . The compressor relay , is what you hear clicking , cutting the compressor , on/off . Even the dispensor board , is operated by the main control board .

Sounds like the compressor is not working very well the clicking is the compressor starter trying to start the compressor. May be low on freon or bad compressor. You can probaly buy one cheaper than fixing this one

The click possibly from the overload protector on the compressor. If the compressor feels really hot you can try leaving it unplugged for 24 hours then retry the start. If it continues then you possibly have a bad motor starter or locked up compressor.

If the compressor is getting hot then the compressor is gone. But the price on a relay is fairly cheap so you can at least try it and if it doesnt work then return it and dump the unit. But like I said before when a compressor gets hot it means that the piston is bad and the rings are burnt and the oil is bad in the compressor.

There are very few parts on this unit. UNPLUG unit jump out the 2 wires to the t-stat. plug it in, if it runs the t-stat is bad.
After that theres the overload /start component on the side of the compressor. UNPLUG remove cover look for burnt wires , wires are ok feel if the compressor is HOT to the touch. if it is it could be off on internal overload. let it sit for a while plug in and listen for a hum or click in the compressor. If there is a Hum then click your back to eather your overload /starter is bad of the Compressor is bad. If you have an amp meter you can check the compressor by clipping the meter on power wire. on the information tag that has the model and serial # there is a amp draw for Lock rotor. If the unit draws Lock Rotor amps the compressor is bad.

Either its not getting cold enough to shut off or your thermostate isnt working.. thats the only thing that cycles it.
