Try this method...

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

foramat your playerand reload the songs

using data cable attach your mp3 with the computer
and there it will be shown to you as a mass storage device and there you will see the list of songs then you can easily delete the songs you dont like.

just get xilisoft video converter ultimate from download.com and convert from there to .mp4

Latte makes several mp3 players. If you have the Latte Neon, you will need to go into the settings menu and adjust the backlight settings:

Brightness control: +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, the higher level, the brighter
Backlight display mode: Normal and Energy-saving modes. Set as no operation and only darker display in normal "Backlight Time", and it will close the display if you set as Energy-saving mode.

If you have the Latte Ice, go into Settings --> Display and adjust the same settings as above.
