Water leaking through detergent tray of my Hotpoint WF860

When machine gets to rinse cycle water leaks through detergent tray. What I noticed was that there was quite a lot of water in the machine and it then it started spinning rapidly and then water leaked out. It doesn't leak on filling up at the start

It sounds like the washer is not draining properly.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is on properly.
Be careful when you remove the hose, as there will be water in there.
As an extra precaution, remove soap draw, and thoroughly clean all parts, particularly, the conditioner parts
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.

My hotpoint wmud843p washing machine is leaking from the detergent draw at the start of the rinse cycle?

Open the draw. Grip it tightly and pull it out. clean the draw and clean the dispenser housing. Usually leaks due to powder etc getting stuck under dispenser draw causing water to bridge across and leak under draw. Also use a pipe cleaner or cable tie to clear any blocked holes in the dispenser.

Water leaking from soap drawer all over the floor during rinse cycle (I think)

probably find a blockage at back of drawer, check the small pipe in the drawer, and unblock this should solve problem

Slight leak

It dpends. see if you can see any staining on front of cabinet under the door , if you can then yes it will mean new seal.
Another source of water could be water from the dispenser trickling down the front of the m/c.
Another possibility is that you have a leak from under the front of the washer. Put a piece of newspaper under the front of the washer, this should enable you to pinpoint the source of the leak.
Hope this helps

Leaking water

Possible your detergent drawer is clogged with old dry detergent. Pull out the drawer and clean with tooth brush. Things shd be fine. Also use only detergent for 'front loading machines'.

Water Leak

I have th same problem, apparently a possible cause could be a partially blocked pump filter. Just trying to get infoon where this is and how to get to it though.

Water Leak

Raf, remove the soap dispensor and check to see if you have a bottle cap gasket blocking the fill port. Just use your finger and probe around where the port is. Catriver..post back.
