Whirlpool washer calypso gvw9959k
Check the pump impeller for debris. Coins, socks, draw strings - etc. - can get sucked in and jam or slow down the pump. To check this you have to go into the washer from beneath (unplugged, and manually drained or wet/dry vaccuumed out). Remove the clamps which hold the water tubes onto the pump motor, taking care not to spew water into the motor windings (they're open). May have to put a finger or probe into the plastic pump tubes to see if there is something in there. If no debris, could be a bad or failing pump. The new design is a single piece of pump/impeller, and you cannot disconnect the pieces without a special tool. The old style pump/impeller can be separated and is a metal serrated shaft into a plastic impeller hole that can strip out when debris jams the impeller.

Just started yesterday. ld ( Long Drain) came up after a few minutes. The book says check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. Emptied the washer and tried to drain, then got ob (off balance).
Tried power reseting and starting again, ld again.
