your going to see if there is enough clerance for the monitor and to reinforce it and make a whole on the headliner to pass the wires through and run the wires alongside the pillar andrun them to the under the dash so you can get you power supply
in the back of your radio were your power cables are at theres a brown wire with the words parking brake on it all you have to do is connect that to any place to were you have ground even to the ground cable that your radio is connected to
i'd say use a small value, such as 5 amp or less. did you wire this up yourself? most stuff like this comes with an in-line fuse already built into the red power wire. in that case you wouldn't need to have additional fusing.
