Hooking up Electronic drum kit to mider

Hi I have a Roland TD-8 Module that I am trying to put into the Yamaha MG82Cx. I want to be able to mix the drum kit through the mixer so I can have it in the mix while a bass and cd is running through. How do I do this?

i have a TD 3 kit that won't power on when plugged in. It is not the adaptor cord - we checked. Is there a reset or another resolution we can find?

Sorry ...you haven't enough channels to mix all the kit ... you will have to run a stereo pair from the td8 to mg82 and mix it from the td8

Hi-hat is triggring sound while in the closed position. and splash can't be produced

Check the following on a VH-11 HiHat.... both cables connected correctly, top playing surface is clear of the inner ring on the lower sensor when in the fully up position, power the module OFF, keep sticks & foot well clear of the HiHat then power ON, finally check the calibration settings (I assume the 15 has that as my TD12 does) If still nogo check on the VDrums forum website....

Hey I recently purchased a Roland TD-4 and i have no idea how to hook up an amplifier to it. My friend gave me a little amp, and i've tried many ports and cannot get it to play outloud. I'd like it...

First plug a set of headphones into the Left audio out and see if you get any sound from there... NOTE: it will only be in the left headset and this is normal. Turn up volume control... note the level will be low as this is a line output, not headset. This is a test to see if there is audio.

My Roland TD-6 Bass drum pedal spring has come off the Pedal. How do I put it baxck on?

There should be a nut and a cylindrical tightener at the bottom of the spring. If you loosen these, you should be able to pull the spring up and get the ring back onto the post. Then just tighten the nuts back down to where the tension feels right.
V-Drums don't all come with the same kick pedal--in fact they are often sold seperately--but this should be enough to help you with most basic kick pedal designs.
let me know if this doesn't make sense and tell me anything else you can about the pedal itself and I'll find a picture so I know what you have. This should work though. Good luck!

Pad wont respond

Hi, had similar problem too. What i did i tested the module and by removing the plug on one of the drums and test with another, drum pad,, if it doesn't work, that means you will have to open the electrical part of the pad and test if the wires are intact. I guess that would do.

You can pass your comment for more help.

Thanks for using fixya....

Well the Roland td-4s is a superb kit. I've only had it for a few weeks now and the only issue im having is with the ride cymbal. It is a CY-8 cymbal that came with the set and it is dual triggered, but...

It sounds like the sensor is bad in the unit... If you have only had it a few weeks, exercise your warraaanty for replacement. Repairing the piezo sensor is NOT really a DIY project.
