My machine doesnt spin and is loaded with water
SOURCE: Hotpoint WMA50p won't spin
Had same problem today with our machine. Brushes looked OK (although one appeared a little shorter than the other).
After removing and re-fitting the brushes, motor worked fine - suggesting that it was the brushes afterall.
Now looking for replacement brushes

If the motor is not getting power when it is called for spin. Then check the computer and the timer. Also check the balance sensor
SOURCE: hotpoint wt960 machine does not drain the water
Your drain pump is out. Usually attached to your motor and operates when the drain cycle is engaged. It's usally a 20 dollar piece. good luck.
