The hard drive is nothing special. The only draw back is that you need the software to use the copier. If you have a IR-2200 or IR-2800 you can use the had drive from one of them. Catch "22" is that if the copier you are trying to fix has the print boot ROM you have to have the donnor copier to have that option as well. Unless you can have the copier "Flashed" with the soft ware. Good Luck...
