function c_getProfessional_AskGet_refreshPicture() {
var imm = $("getProfessional_ask_fromprchat");
var val = false;
if(imm)
{
val = $("getProfessional_ask_fromprchat").checked;
}
var pOn = $("c_AskGet_checkBoxOn");
var pOff = $("c_AskGet_checkBoxOff");
if(!pOn || !pOff) return;
if (val) {
pOn.style.display = "";
pOff.style.display = "none";
} else {
pOff.style.display = "";
pOn.style.display = "none";
}
}
function c_getProfessional_AskGet_toggleImmediate() {
var oImmediate = $("getProfessional_ask_fromprchat");
if(!oImmediate) return;
var val = oImmediate.checked;
oImmediate.checked = !val;
c_getProfessional_AskGet_refreshPicture();
}
c_getProfessional_AskGet_refreshPicture();
Check to see that you don't have your Closed Caption on in Text Mode! Turn it off if it is. If that's not the problem then I would say the front display got bumped rather hard and damaged the LCD display in which that will be about the cost of a new set. Let's hope it's not the later. Keep me posted.
christoph430. Your TV is hosed. Olevia will not fix it even if it is still under factory warranty. They are having lots of issues with their products and it will be too costly for them to pay for the repairs they should be covering. They are hoping you have an extended warranty through whomever you bought the TV from and will let that company deal with what should be THEIR problem. The repair company has to try to fix the TV at their cost. Nothing but a scam. We will never buy an Olevia TV again. Respond to [email protected] if you would like to understand details about our frustration with them. Unbelievable. Sorry for the bad news.
Go to Best Buy and buy the DirectTV Universal Remote Control Model RC64 ($20). It will control all the functions on both the Olevia TV and the RCA Satellite box, except the A-B-C-D buttons for the User Guide. It's codes are:
I have a 32'' olevia 232v hdtv. I had a similar problem where the tv stays on less and less as you use it longer and it gets warmer. I called customer service and they explained that its most likely a problem with it is doesnt have enough power to run well. They said turn the TV off, then hit the master turn off switch in the lower back of the tv, then unplug everything from the TV, then unplug everything from the wall. Then after 3 or 4 hours, plug all back in and try again. Then they said if i still have a problem, call customer service at 1 866 9 olevia
