What type of USB Cable does a VUPOINT DC-C517-VP digital camera take

Have you looked at the screens of other cameras outdoors? Almost every one is impossible to see. I think your camera is probably fine.

connect it thru the cord n put it in data transfer mode if u dont have drivers n then upload the photos

Slide the function switch to the camera icon. Press the MENU button. Select Language (the speech bubble). Select the language from there.

first see if the maker of the camera has a vista driver for it.
if not,no problem.
buy a vista compatible "card reader"for the cameras memory stick(it's very cheap$$)
youl like it better than using the camera cord!!

go to retrevo.com input model and you should be able to get your manual in a pdf file that you can download and print.

That particular model comes with ArcSoft Photo Impression 5 which can not be downloaded for free. It can be purchased for around $40.00 USD. I would instead try this free program from Google called Picasa: http://picasa.google.com/
It is very user friendly and has a host of basic photo editing capabilities. Please rate me well if this has helped you.

Your camera uses a SD flash memory card. You have a xD flash memory card. Basically, you have the wrong size card. Hope this helps!
