You may need to reopen the ports necessary for the Lorex to be available for remote viewing. You should be able to look at the function on the Lorex menu to get the port numbers, then call Verizon to have them forward the ports. Without port forwarding, your video stream is being blocked at the Verizon FIOS Modem.

Have you setup a Virtual Server within the D-Link router? This should be on the ADVANCED tab in the D-Links Admin Configuration interface. Upon setup, the router should allow pass through of your request to the network connected device.

You will need the following in this configuration:

Name of device: SSC21WEB (or whatever the name of your device is)
IP Address: 192.168.0.101
Protocol Type: TCP
Public/Private Port: 10000 - 65535
Schedule: Always

Good Luck...

SOURCE: Can't log on remotely

did you set up a port to connect through if not you need to set one on the port your DVR needs and forward it. It is called port forwarding.

Can my Lorax mc2700 be viewed from my phone

The Lorax MC2700 is a portable radio that does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. As a result, it cannot be viewed or controlled from a phone or other device. It can only be controlled using its physical controls

Lorex troubleshooting

The most common reason for loss of camera remote video is an intermittent cable connection between camera and DVR. Try monitoring with a VGA monitor, or TV with analog VGA input also to see if that is the case. Gently move the cables around that run from the cameras to the DVR while observing the multiple cameras showing on the monitor. Some remote viewing software has trouble restoring camera assignments after brief loss of camera signal.

Can't get full screen on Vizio VA19LHDTV10T

This is either due to some incompatibility or change of format of picture. Also the color system should be same like PAL/SECAM etc.

Philips TV HDMI CEC EasyLink tries to control Cable set top box

I finally found a fix to this! YAY. I thought I might have to return the TV. I have the Phillips 42PFL5603D, but should work for other models.

On the TV press menu picture settings---picture---dynamic contrast (turn off) AND active control, turn off
If you have Comcast Moto box: on the Cable box go menu--->setup--->cablebox set up---RF BYbass set to ON
If you have a non-Comcast Moto Box, I'm sure there is an RF bypass setting in the menu. You'll just have to look for it. Another fix was close saying to only turn of the active control, but it took all 3 of these for it to work consistently. The latter let it work for all of 30 seconds.

NEED REMOTE CODE

Go on the Verizon website and request a new remote, the Verizon P265 Remote model. It will have all the newest firmware and it should have the code. I know this because I had a TCL 32" TV and the code wasn't on my old Philips RC 1445302 model. TV and new remote are "talking" just fine now. Verizon won't even want the old one back.

The battle: Acer Vs. Verizon FiOS

Verizon needs to apply a firmware update for the Atheros wireless adapter in your notebook. I work for Acer and I end up having to tell people this all day long. If you take this to a wireless router that is not from verizon you will have no problems with your connection. Maybe if enough Fios customers complain they will provide a firmware update for this.
