SOURCE: trying to hook up laptop with haier tv using vga

Dod you use HOTKEYS on the laptop to tell it to send the signal the VGA outlet of the laptop? The hotkeys function can be set to turn off the laptop screen and only have external monitor to be the only display or it can be set to have both of them on.

SOURCE: Trying to hook compaq presario laptop to philips lcd digital tv

hey fox,
sounds to me like a connection problem. If the compaqs output is vga, you need to convert the input (tv side ) to hdmi, component, s-vidio... what ever you can find. Typically when you hook up your computer to a flat screen or such, its best to try to use the hdmi ports or the rpg. But if thats not available you need to take the outout from your laptop ( whatever type that might be and input it into your flat screen tv. If you input laptop into tv under ( eg..HDMI) then when you VIEW it you need to select the correct source on your flat screen. Such as hdmi or pcmi or rpg.I know that the do sell alot of cables that adapt from one type of connection to another. Typically only one cable is required from the laptop to the flat screen. If you think about it you are only using the flat screen as a monitor.

SOURCE: I need to hook up to digital cable

Thank you for your time.
I turned on the router supplied by Verizon, which I did not do yesterday, I'm embarrassed to say....
I called Sanyo and received step by step how to set up.
It was the same procedure I used yesterday with the exception of making sure the router was on,

I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have a HX32N2176h Hisense 32" LED tv will this TV handle and display HD when connected to a Laptop or Android Box with HDMI Cable?

The Hisense HX32N2176H will display an HD signal of 1366x720 with the HDMI input. (Any resolution above 480 (lines of pixels) is considered HD.) However, this isn't a full-HD (1080) capable TV. See https://www.hificorp.co.za/hisense-32in-81cm-hdr-led-tv-hx32n2176 for the specifications. Click on the Technical Details tab.

I hope this helps.

I have 32” Emerson tv LC320EM2 trying to hook to Hughsnet, ( I’m sort of tech savvy) but this tv has me stumped, how do I hook up to WiFi router? What kind of cable will I need?

Hi,
Put simply, you don't.
It's not designed as an internet-compatible device.
You can hook it up to a digital TV box, be it cable or satellite, using the HDMI port or RCA ports, but it's got no facility to accept direct internet signals.

How do I connect my acre laptop up to my hisense tv using a HDMI cable

For most laptops with present day systems and software, it should be a connect-and-go process. Just hook the cable into the laptop's output and the TV's input. Make sure the TV is set to the input channel to receive HDMI. If the sound still comes through the laptop speakers, you'll need to go into the laptop's sound settings and configure it manually to put the audio through the HDMI cable.

If your Acer laptop has an older system like Windows XP, you'll need to use hotkeys or manual display configuration from the laptop to set its output to HDMI. Some laptops don't automatically recognize when they've been hooked up to a TV and will need to be told.

No sound when I hook the HDMI cable from my laptop to my Hisense LCD 32 in tv

I don't know the settings/menu of your tv, but for me I use a headphone jack to rca lead. The headphone end plugs into sound output like headphones and rca plugs into audio amplifier. Lead available at electrical/home entertainment retailer. If your computer has digital audio compatible with your tv you may be able to try that.
