Subsidy lock i have a boost mobile phone and my cousin put his at&t sim card it it and now it as the subsidy lock on it ..is there a way to fix that ?

You must unlock the phone to work with Nextel, then it will work, you can try here for the software

it will not work unless unlocked, you can put a boost sim in a nextel phone without unlocking

I had the same prob jsut put a boost sim in it and wait for about 48 hours with the fone on and wit hfull service the whole time they will trace the fone and check to see if it is reported stolen and if it isnt they will unlock it is an automatic program built into the older fones kinda like lojak this should work on about 75% of the older fones out there ok and ps if it is "hot" jsut change the name the fone is registerd to in the fones menu in boost fones it is under my info ok that is all you will need to do

I have a boostmobile simcard and i want to put the tmobile simcard inside the sidekick slide.but when i do it ask me for a special code is there a special code for me to start using it?

you actually need to unlock your phone to use the simcard not just a code. boost mobile and tmobile run and different networks to its not as simple as putting in a different sim card.

Your mobile is 'network or operator' locked to T-Mobile: in order to use it on another network like Boost, you will need to get your handset unlocked: you will need to request this 'unlock code' (e.g. subsidy password) from T-Mobile but they may charge you a fee for this service especially if you are still under contract.
Alternatively, you can also get your handset unlock for a small fee by a third party mobile phone service shop or online specialized unlocker specialist - this may of course invalidated your warranty!

I have a motorola razor V3r and I inserted my boost mobile I9 stature sim card and it says enter subsidy password. I just need the subsidy password so I can download music on my phone, and use my razor...

Your phone is locked to the original carrier it came from, most likely AT&T. You can call them and ask for the unlock code and they should email it to you within a few days. They will need the 15 digit IMEI number that is on a sticker inside the phone under the battery. There are unlocking services that can get you the number but they charge $20 or more (see ebay) for something AT&T can give you for free. There is no standard unlock code. The code for each phone is unique for each IMEI number. Once unlocked you can use any SIM you like. Sorry it's not a simpler solution.

You will need contact Telus to get the subsidy unlock code to use your phone on the boost mobile network.

When you place a new or SIM card from another phone provider from the original phone contract then it asks for a Security code.
Your phone is locked to this mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for your phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in the phone.
