Change the ignition pick up coil assembly normally located on the distributor under the rotor on the bottom of the distributor or just replace the distributor

You are at thhe right trail what controls spark is coil pack crank sensor sparkplugs and plug wire but the most important is power . I mean 12 volt connections and ground This includes checking fuses you need a simple volt meter doesnt have to expensive or fancy just to pick up 12 volts let start with fuses in the engine juction box (there not mark to what it belongs to) make sure none are open. especially fuse 19 and 24 , next go to the crank sensor make sure the tabs are snuggly on now to the coil pack there is a red and light green wire this comes from ignition and feeds 12 volts at the coil pack measure that voltage is it 12 volts if not correct it this is from ignition switch ( you can make a tool that feed 12 volt with a wire and a fuse in series and attatch it to battery and the primary wire this is known as hot wire) next go to the ECM wiggle the wires see if that get a connection going if not go back to the ICM here are the wire you are to measure the tan light green, this is from ECM and it is pulsed it measure 5vlts to 0 volts switched then measure the tan orange the same thing 5 volts to zero, then tan white again 5vlts to zero. any one of these 5 to zero fails you fix is the ecm

SOURCE: my 1992 ford taurus gl 3.0 will not turn over. i

Starter fluid is used in some of the cold states to force fuel into the system without burning the battery. Same as wd-40 for diesels. This has to be a fuel problem. Have you replaced the fuel filter?? Don't want to guess to much,it seems you have been on it awhile. In my experience this points to fuel. Find out why its not bringing up the fuel. Good luck.

Had a problem like this before and it was the computer..But you could faintly smell something like burnt wires..The computer should be down by the kick panel on the driverside..See if you smell anything on that side

1997 mazda 626 won't start.

Are the plugs wet with fuel?
Check for spark. No spark? it may be the ignition module.

Plugs dry and spark present? No fuel?Spray a little starting fluid and see if it will run on that.
Then check pump fuses and for fuel pump noise.

My car will not start my lights, radio work its not the battery. I recently replaced the starter, the altenator, battery, fuel pump catalyic converter. when i turn the key there is no noise it won't...

Sounds to me like the starter or starter relay, OR did you check all the fuses? When the starter doesn't click or turn over the engine it is likely a problem with it or the power supply to it. Start with the easy thing. check the fuses, then the relay.
The P0300 is usually caused by something other than the spark plugs or coils. A fuel/oxygen sensor can cause this code. I would say that doesn't have anything to do with not starting.
Good luck.

My 1992 Ford Tempo won't start. It acts like it wants to start by turning over but there is no catch to fire it up. So far the alternator, harmonic balancer, fuel pump, plugs, distributor and filters...

...the harmonic balancer was replaced? I hope that was not in relation to your vehicle not starting - if it was, that was a waste of money. The first three things to check for are fuel, air, and spark.
You need to test if the spark is making it to the end of the spark plug - can be done by removing a plug and placing it in the wire - and setting it near something that it can arc to. Just don't zap yourself.
Next, check for fuel pressure.
Check for a clogged air intake system or dirty air filter.

After than you'd check for compression - by putting a compression gauge in to a spark plug port. If the compression is low or off by 25% in one cyl from the different ones, this is an issue.

Timing chain

Timing chain does not need to be replaced like a timing belt. It will only need to be replaced if it starts making noise or causing problems
