How do I get the date/timestamp to display on pictures with Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 14.1 Megapixel?
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

To pop up the flash slide the switch at the top of the flash to the "Open" position. Press Right on the four-way button (marked with a lightning bolt). Press Up/Down to select the desired flash mode (in this case, FORCED FLASH ON) and press MENU/SET.
Remember to set it back to AUTO when you're done using the flash.
