U mean no power at all?
If yes, try to reset it. (NOTE: This method will RESET all of ur programmed data!)

1. Off power
2. Take out the AA size backup battery
3. On Power
4. The machine should show "0000000000"
5. Fix the AA battery in
6. Program the Date & Time
7. Ok

    cant get the power on still what do I do now? do I need to replace the battery? what is wrong with the machine? Please help me.... do I have to buy a new machine or is there help out there for me? I can not get any power to come on the machine still removed the batteries like you suggested and then still no power... what did I do something wrong or am I missing something?

How to program discount on Casio TE-2400 cash register
No need to program it. It is enabled by default. For a percentage discount, just type the percentage eg 10 then press %- button. For amount discount, type the dollar amount eg 2000 (no decimal) then press - button.

Casio te-2400 cash register- making transactions
Try this: Turn key to program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
This should remove the preset amount from the CASH button. Now it should work normally when finishing the sale.
Now turn back to REG mode when entering the price, DO NOT use a decimal, so type 2000 for 20 dollars. Now press a PLU (item) button. SUBTOTAL Type the amount received (NO DECIMAL, so 5000 for 50 dollars) Press CASH Change should be displayed, and drawer open

Need to key in my specials prices have used up all 24 preset ****
The TE-2000 should allow price over-ride as standard, so instead of just pressing the item button to ring up the preset price, type the price first on the numeric keys (NO DECIMAL POINT, so $5 = 500) then press the item button to sell it at the new price for that sale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Casio TE-2000
VAT is value added tax which is straight percentage. program tax one or two for the percentage and make sure your departments are set up taxable or non taxible. prgm 2 is vat probably and program 1 will be for dept. generally with casio.
