From what you describe the pump itself is probably OK or it would not run at all. You obviously still have a water problem in the pump wiring or in the pump itself. Get under the vehicle and trace the wires all the way back to the engine bay, starting at the pump. Dry everything you can reach with a hairdryer (not a heat gun - too much heat). Once you figure it is all dry, spray every connection with electrical parts cleaner.
If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to consider replacing the wires - not as difficult as it sounds.
hi this sounds like you have the firing order incorrect..have you tried changing the firing order? the firing order is, 1,2,3,4,5,6 and also check to see if you have left any vacuum hoses of as this will also give you the same problem ....hope this helps
Are you using air tool oil before each use? The air coming into the gun may have water and other debris along with it. Try installing an in-line filter in the hose. Remove the head and try to push the piston down to see if it is stuck. Hope this helps!
the back firing sounds like to me that the spark plug wires are not in right position on distributor cap, firing on wrong cylinder, did you remove distributor or distributor cap?
My paselode was doing the same thing, and I followed all of the cleaning instructions, but the problem continued.
If it was left alone for a minute, it would fire again, so I removed the cover over the trigger assy, and checked the spark plug wire connection. The trigger came out, and during reassembly, I noticed that the electrical switch was hanging, and slowly pushing back out.
I cleaned and lightly spray/oiled the switch pin, and voila.........works like a charm.
your injector or fuel pump may be going out, next time when you check the issue, check your distubutor again and making sure you getting sparks, if you do have sparks than it has to be your fuel problems.
