Gamo Hornet schematic

I was given a Gamo Hornet .177 air rifle in a box in pieces. Where can I find the schematics or directions to assemble?

The best thing to do is go on the internet and type in the company name. And see if they have what you need.Or maybe they can tell you who to contact for the schematics and directions to assemble it together.Hope this helps you out.Joseph A Bagli.

Sorry to tell you but the crosshair adjustment is more than likely broken. Take it to a qualified gunsmith and he can check it out for you.

SOURCE: the air rifle i have

once the oil burns off and leaves the barrel, try diff pellets as they do make a world of difference. i have a gamo shadow and use promatch. there are some better and more expensive ones but i have no issues hitting a 50c coin from 50m away. breathing, posture, your steadiness and your familarity to the trigger breakpoint all affect your accuracy.

I can't get my gamo whisper mach with a 3×9 sighted in, I've had it about a year and used several different 177 pellets and still can't get it sighted in.

Ok, set your air rifle in a Vise.
Take a target, look down the barrel of the air rifle and move the target until it is centered on the hole in the barrel.
Adjust the sight until it is centered on the target.
After that the only thing that you need to do is adjust for the range (distance/elevation/vertical setting) of the target.

The magnification adjustment ring on my Gamo Whisper worked fine at first, then was stuck between 3X and 5X. Now it is free again but the scope is not focused on the 3X and 9X settings, but is clear on 5X...

I'm not familiar with the scope, is it an air rifle scope? One stroke type? If not, the backwards recoil of the air rifle is tough on a normal scope, they aren't made for that type of abuse. They work fine with a normal recoil. That is why they started making air rifle scopes. I'm sure that the internals of your scope are damaged somewhat, you can take off the eyepiece no problem, you might find something in there, loose screw, missing screw, you never know, don't get too carried away with the dis-assembly, you'll never get it back together. It sounds like the magnification ring is messing with the focus of the eyepiece. Might just need some oil. Hope this helps.
