Next, hook up the router to your computer with a LAN cable. Open a browser and enter 192.168.1.1 into the url address window. The default login is 1234. Then configure the wireless settings - see pages 6 & 7 of the guide.
download this ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/P-660HW-D1/user_guide/P-660HW-D1_3.40_Ed1.pdf and read from page 107 full instructions for setting up your wireless is shown there , if the wireless is already showing when you scan for networks on your pc and all you need is the security key you can find it from the instructions in the manual
Point your browser to http://192.168.0.1.A page will appear with the router settings.Look for basic setup or wireless. If you get to then in the "wireless network name" change as desire and click save.
See there might be network key set up on the wireless modem already, you will need to check what the network key is ? For this you will need to access the set up interface of the modem/ router. Make sure to install the USB adapter's driver and utility. If it's installed, you need to use the Belkin WLAN Utility to connect to the wireless network. You should be able to find the signla coming the router and you can connect to it
You should set the security on your computer wifi card to wpa-psk and then type in the securitycode which is written in your Zyxel Router.
If this is not possible with your networkcard, change to wpa or wpa2 inside the Zyxel. And do the same procedure with your networkcard, when detected the Router.
Yes. You can just deploy a Wireless Access Point or a Wireless Range Expander. What they do is they extend your signal from main router thus, if you're having low reception at one part of your house, deploy the Wireless Access Point there and it's gonna give you another excellent signal.
