TV Power Supply is not working - how do I diagnose what component I need to replace?

Power supply might be working fine - intelligent switch mode psu will probably shut down if the current demand is too high and so the fault could be elsewhere.

Power supply for a gateway GT5634H

Hi Debbie ,

Yes that power connector should be just fine the extra 4pins are an addition 12v rail to reduce the amperage on one line , you can just connect it offset to one side, not centred.
allthough there will be more current than the newer 24pin PSU, id reccomend buying an additional 20 to 24pin adaptor from

hope this helps .

Hello I have a JBL on stage 2 that I bought in the

Congratulations. You are among the first to approach us after having done a lot of the research up front instead of considering us a proxy Search Engine secretary.

I'm going with OS200ID as the unit's model number.

The DC input and physical fit are the only considerations for the dock's power - 12V/1.25A.

Item 190555626796 IS indeed a universal voltage (100-240 vac) sourced supply. The seller, DIGIDAVE, http://www.digidave.co.uk/help invites queries, too.

I'd say this is exactly what you need to use the the OS anywhere on the planet with a plug adapter.

Ok i neeed help!!!!!!!! on my power supply there is a switch which you can move to 115 volts to 230 volts. everytime i switch it to 230 volts the computer wont turn on? why is this happening? when i put it...

This is the power supply for your PC, depend on your local country power supply, some country like North US may use 110 V in their daily use electrical stuff and some country like Euro, UK use 240 V.

Your PC power supply is design to suit this 2 type of power input so can be sold everywhere. What u need to do is to make sure your local country power supply voltage and then just switch the input correctly, i think u have done it.

Audiovox PVD80

The UK has a standard mains voltage supply of 220 to 240 v AC. So you need a 240 v in to 12v DC out regulated power supply, probably require a secondary current of 2.5 amps. Just be careful that the connector polarity is wired correctly. Farnel /cpc sell the adaptor linked below in the uk [phone to order- pay by credit card] which looks good value and will probably do the job:
