What do beeps mean on frigidaire washer dryer controls

The Frigidaire AEQ8000FE electric dryer is displaying the 50 and start/stop lights blinking randomly with periodic beeping. Pressing the control panel clears the issue, but it returns after a few minutes. Despite this issue, the dryer is working properly.

For that many issues and for the amount of money you spent, you need to call out a technician who knows this machine. Sometimes, you just have to let the pros take over. Burnt cables is never a good sign as it can take everything with it.

Does it turn on at all? Any lights or beeps? You might want a professional to look at replacing the main control board if everything else checks out okay.

this means there is a stuck button on the control panel try find the one that is stuck and free it up.if there is no button stuck then you may need to replace the control board.

I have the Frigidaire Affinity Washer and Dryer. A few weeks ago my Washer door switch went out I changes that with no problem. Now the Dryer has just stop quit working. Here are the symptoms on the ; 1>it's plug up and the power is fine 2> there is no errors on the panel 3> control operate fine. 4> close the door, set the controls, press start, No spinning. 5> when you press start you hear a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds, then nothing... The Operating Instructions say this:

Control Lock
To avoid having someone accidentally start or stop
the washer, press OPTIONS and Select at the same
time and hold for about 10 seconds until the
(Control Lock) lights up. “LOC” will be displayed
alternately with the estimated cycle time. Turning
the Cycle Selector knob or pressing any button
will produce flashing indicator lights and/or beeping.
To unlock the controls, press and hold OPTIONS
and Select for about 10 seconds.

due to your dryer swicth is not inproper function.. and the water controller is not functioning..
