I have this Samsung 50" Plasma TV. Does not respond to neither the remote control nor the control buttons on the body of the TV. I have changed the PCB Main Board with no improvement. Now I have been adviced to change the Logic Main... could this solve the problem?

My Samsung PN50C450B1D plasma TV doesn't respond when touching the Menu, Volume or Channel buttons on the TV itself.

Chances are you have a stuck button on the button cluster, what I'd do is remove the connector going to it and use the remote control, with a stuck button the remote won't function properly.

The remote sensor in the TV unit is not responding

Check the remote control for its infrared emission first. If it found OK, check and replace the remote sensor inside the TV. Toshiba Plasma TV 50HP95 while watching TV screen went black and power light started blinking. No response from remote or buttons on the side of the unit. TV is approx. 7 yrs old.

Blinking of the power button denotes an internal circuit fault. If you wish to get more about the blinking codes to Samsung TVs, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Panasonic TH50PX500U plasma stuck on one channel and the TV is not responding to the control buttons on the tv or remote control. I can't even pull up the menu screen. Anyone know what the problem could...

I have a 5 years old TH-50PX500U Panasonic Plasma TV that has almost similar problem as yours. At times, the response on both TV buttons and remote control is very slow or no response at all. I am pretty sure that this is a defect in the TV control circuit. I am still searching for answer to this problem.

Tv not responding to remote

This may sound silly but does the remote have a funtion button or buttons at the top of the remote? It may be set to operate a DVD or VCR instead of the TV.

Failing that check the batteries, it is very rate that your TV will stop accepting IR signals.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

your turning section is not responding to any input, hence needs to be checked by a technician. every thing you have mentioned are controlled by one ic, with its respective voltages.

The TV does not respond to the remote control nor the buttons in the front panel

Sounds like power supply switch needs to be changed to normal setting. If you are comfortable with electronics i will talk you through it if not you will need a tech or back to cosco it goes if you have a warranty.
