Why dosen't the digital display and neon light turn on

Do you have them turned off at the dash light dimmer control? This is a common mistake and happens often.

you must read the owner manual, section troubleshooting for indicate what is wrong. and fix it. Otherwise you must to the repair shop for fix it.
Normally the LCD is faulty, and need replace it.

If you turn the key to the on position without starting the engine, one of the lights says check engine. that's the light you're looking for!!! if it dosen't come on there is something wrong with the light!

Several possible reasons include cable box if used needs to be rebooted.

set is detecting no signal from tuners (check with dvd connected to rear input)

Any number of the boards in the set bad--may be a real issue finding those if APEX.

Why not put the car back to standard and see if it cures all these problems.
Not all cars like hids, some have to be wired in with resistors

Mean engine test is OK, so no problem with DC controller, reset display cable remain same? replace formatter assm.. Its not related with drivers issue.

Your VGA device of motherboard might have problem. and it also can be caused due to some IC failure... you will have to repair your Motherboard as soon as possible. if it dosen't worrks consider replacing your Motherboard.

Typically only freezer that have a digital display for the tempature setting use a battery yours however does not use one

Your batery is dead they don't like long period of staying discharging (If you 100% shure that your Nikon is working) The time of charge dosen't matter.

I have tried reseting the Zen Neon numerouse times, but it keeps displaying the creative sign.
