I have a LG Plasma 42 du-42PX12X/12XC, and when turn on is working perfect and after 15 min the the image no appeared more. If turn off and after 2 or more hours it work again very well, but after 15 min the same problem, can you help me? tanks.

It seems that some parts are having a problem by warming up the temp.
If you're a technician, try some coldspray on the capacitors of the power supply.

You may not have the resolution set to hd even though you are on the channel. Confirm that you are using hd cable and your set is displaying 720p or greater. This will sometimes pop up on the screen when you tune to a hd channel. it sounds like you are on 480 i or p. good luck
I have the same problem the pic went out but have sound. where do i go to get the Yboard? do i need a special number off of it or something? I took it to repair shop and he said it would be like 500 dollarss to repair. but i see all kind of yboards on ebay for like 150?? how do I know what one to buy?
My set has encountered this magical 50/50 split screen and it seems to be quite a problem since I am not the only one researching this issue. LG was of no use because of course it is just out of warranty. Any solutions on fixing this or am I out of money in buying a new plasma?
