Unplug the washer for 5 five minutes, then re supply power. This should reset the computer and get it running again

first try the simple step, unplug unit for 60 secounds, then replug unit back up. reset load and see if that works. let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Press & hold 'end of cycle' at right of panel for 3 seconds. The light will come off.

Yes...I would have mentioned lid switches to you. Dryer Doors and Washer lid switches can become a problem. They are constantly used and in some cases deposits enter the switches and effect the operation. Slamming a lid or door also damages switches and contacts. Glad you found the problem.

Mold in rubber ring front loader Fridgidare washer

Common problem. Clean the moulding as best you can, even scour with steel wool. Leave the door open so the machine will be dry when not in use or/and wipe the rubber after each use. You can try to cover up the odour by wiping with a rag moistened with vanilla essence. Otherwise fit a new rubber and keep it dry in future.

NO, All of the fridgidare products are bad. Buyer beware. Check out more internet if you need further warning. Spyder bracket and drum bearings on the front load fridgidares are a money pit. Buy and LG from anyplace but Sears. Buy anything otherthan GE,Electrolux, Kenmore, Hotpoint from Sears.

My cltf2940es0 fridgidare front loading washer will not start a cycle. The door will lock and the timer will set, however when the cycle should start the motor makes a subtle humming noise. This will...

unplug washer. take off bottom front panel remove rubber boot hose from bottom of tub to pump .have towel or cake pan ready for water.clean out boot and stick finger in pump clean out also remove drain hose at pump check for coin reinstall hoses this fixes must problems with front loaders

Fridgidare washing machine front loader

It can mean one of two things. You did not use an HE ( High energy detergent) or you used to much so there are too many suds in the washer. It can also mean that if you are using warm water, the hot water is not coming in, so you would need to make sure the hoses are connected correctly, the hot water is turned all the way on and that the little filter at the end of the hose (washer end) is clean.

Perhaps you have to change your lock, this is a sensitive point & will affect the smooth operation of your machine. Re. the inbalance, you hv to screw up & lock the front 2 legs (with check nut), adjust the front legs (screwed up) only to see if the machine does not move during wash/spin.
