One reference indicated AT2005 is the same as WT7520. I think WT7520 datasheet has some errors, but have found no one to ask about them. I need schematic of Powork PW-600, using WT7520; and a better WT7520 datasheet.

Power light goes on (green ) for about 3 seconds then shuts off

the tv have a fault in the power supply circuit or horizontal circuit check the regulator transistor or ic in your power supply and other components there.check the horizontal output transistor in the horizontal circuit and other components around replace what ever component you find faulty and components associated with the faulty component.good luck.

I need Power Supply unit ATX-300-12Z CDR for my H Pavilion desktop. P/S HP P/N 51882625

You dont have to replace it with the exact one...just shop around and find a 300 watt ATX power supply. You can find a few good deals around the internet. (tigerdirect.com...newegg.com....etc)

What is full meaning of the following codes in design and constructing an inverter-NE55,CD4013,JRC455,A733,IRFP150,1N4007,C945.

These numbers are the identification of some electronic devices that probably are being used in the inverter's circuit:

CD4013 - Dual D Flip-Flop integrated circuit
1N4007 - 1 A rectifier diode
IRFP150 - power MOSFET
A733 (2SA722) - PNP silicon transistor (low frequency amplifier)
C945 (2SC945) - NPN silicon transistor (low speed switching)

I could not find the devices marked JRC455 and NE55 - maybe they were not correctly marked, but there are some devices which have similar designations: JRC4559 is a dual operational amplifier integrated circuit and the NE555 is a time/oscillator integrated circuit.

You can download their datasheets from

Hope this information can be useful!

ATX-300-12Z was hit with a power surge (thought we had a surge protector). Green light on power supply blinking at 2X/second. No power at USB devices (or anywhere else.) PC was on when surge hit.

There were 2 Switching power supply circuit inside the ATX PSU. There's a Standy PWM circuit whichSupply +5V to the PWM IC of the Main PWM. Stand by pwm still working or insufficient voltage, lower than +5V. This is the reason you still have Green light. Check or replaced small filter capacitor around 100 MFD 16V, open resistor or shorted diode that was nearest of the PWM IC..
Watch out for charge voltage on big capacitors.

Need a fan for the extreme Power Plus 600w

What a wastage of power ?
I suggest not to fan more but to reduce heat generation.
Better check, why excess heat generated? Surely low power devices overdrived. Just modify it. Like low voltage schottky rectifier. insted of using 20A per channel, they use 3A per channel. Your PCB of SMPS has the hole to cater the proper rectifiers. Just Search the datasheet, replace the overheat component with higher capacity and you solve the problem.

Sometime, poor screwing of heatsink to transistor/devices may generate excess heat too.If you can replace the fan, you must do the other work I recomend. GOOD LUCK.

HI I have a FSP200-61GT SPI switching power supply with a burned out Mosfet on the high voltage side. There is a (I think)a .5 or 1 watt resistor on both sides of the mosfet. But they test good, my problem...

Please give motr of the devices fixed on same heat sink. Search for SMPS IC like FPS or similar, search their application notes and the datasheet of the nMOS. then you can get idea. without those data Solution is impossible.

SCHEMATIK DIAGRAM FOR POWER SUPPLI

I would also have liked to have had a schematic diagram for my ECHOSTAR 450w ATX power supply.

Not having one though, I have replaced two capacitors (one with a bulging top) and another with a leaking top, three rectifiers (two shorted and the third had a cracked case), and have ordered transistor Q1 (also shorted). Will also need to repair trace damage on the bottom of the circuit board. Other components check out OK so I hope it will be working again after the transistor arrives Monday. I need the -5v this one supplies to get my old computer running so I can retrieve last year's tax info.

HOW DO U KNOW THE CAPACITY OF AN COMPUTER SMPS (unbranded)

Maximum output of any smps is not based solely on the type of power switching transistors used. One of the parameters which will be crucial is the Ic (Max collector current rating). But this by itself isn't the lone determining factor either.

Other design factors which will come into play are the switching transformer, its size and windings. A smaller transformer and smaller wire gauge windings will generally mean lower max power output.

Max power output measurements probably require a set of load resistors, volt and amp meters, monitoring the 3.3, 5, 12 volt lines.

I'm not an engineer, but have had numerous computer power supplies apart, repairing some, junking some. Quality of construction or lack thereof is generally obvious. PC Power and Cooling probably builds high quality units. There are plenty of cheap, low cost power supplies which frequently die after a year or two, sometimes taking a motherboard down with it.
