Flashing lights no pic but has soung

Unfortunately, this problem may require servicing from Samsung. There is a video online explaining how to fix the problem, but it involves removing the back panel of the TV.

I don't know how old your TV is and whether or not it's under warranty. The safest thing to do is to contact Samsung for repair. In the meanwhile, here's the video if you're adventurous enough to try it:

This tv still under warrenty?Yes take ur warrenty repair.This problems very common on Sharp LCD tvs.I have one too.This tv have a Tuner signal board problems.But this tv still use able.Just push power button again after the POWER and OPC flashes.POWER and OPC some will flashes again and wait just push the power button again and wait.Sometimes have to push power buttons and wait power button push out of three or four times power button push POWER and OPC flashes.Than tv will work again.

The tv have power supply board problems.Call Sony Corp. for ur tv warrenty repair.

Tv have a dead long board call the LCD inverter board.This long LCD inverter board,help to get a backlight to the LCD screen panel,to produced a picture.Tv only 3 months old,take ur warrenty repair,call the Dynex corp. for warrenty repair.

Really? Nobody has a better solution? I have the same problem and the tv's about a year old. That's it!

It sound like the main board problem. Replace the main board will fix it. By the way, if you purchased the TV from Costco then the TV is still under warranty.

If you purchased the warrenty extra above the cost of the tv Sears will allow you to purchase another extended warrenty. Contact them and let them know your extended warrenty ran out and you would like to buy another. I would leave out the part about the tv being broken.
